How can we treat gum disease?
* The initial stage of gum disease is reversible with a good brushing and flossing. Good oral hygiene will help prevent plaque.
* A professional cleaning is the only way to remove plaque that has hardened and turned into tartar. Your dentist will clean or "descaled" teeth to remove tartar above and below the gum.
* If your case is more severe, a root will be made to resolve the irregularities existing in the roots and make more difficult the accumulation of plaque.
Regular visits to your dentist can treat this disease at the outset, before it becomes too serious. If you have exceeded the initial stage of the disease, you must take care with your dentist.
