Alternatives for the treatment of psoriasis

 

 

E l green tea may be beneficial and effective for treating psoriasis and other skin diseases of an inflammatory nature, such as injuries related to systemic lupus erythematosus or dander.

These conclusions were drawn after a study conducted in Georgia, in mice, which showed that tea slowed the growth of skin cells from mice with a genetic predisposition to develop psoriasis

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease, which by deregulation of the latter the skin cells to grow uncontrollably. To deregulate the immune system, releasing chemicals that induce inflammation and cell proliferation, that explains the excessive amount of growth in skin cells.

According to the research on green tea would suppress the inflammation of property because they regulate the expression of proteins responsible for controlling the growth cycle of skin cells, the researchers said.
